This dramatic debut collection, is inspired by the term hysterie, that historically was used to describe all sorts of unwanted behaviours in women. Too eccentric, outspoken, resistant to normes or depressed, everything could be explained by this medical condition, and the core of this sickness was the uterus. This is interpreted into a collection with exciting proportions, intricate cuts, and by incorporating a stylized image of the uterus as a symbol of female empowerment. Dressed in the most exclusive materials such as cashmere, silk and velvet, we encounter a woman on the balancing act between madness and genius.
